IFB-Masterclass Biotechnology
How to succeed as a bio-entrepreneur ?Download the brochure here.
The Masterclass Biotechnology is set up to help starters, managers and entrepreneurs in translating their biotech inspirations into successful business ideas. The class focuses on the managerial and entrepreneurial skills for those who approach biotechnology in a entrepreneurial way. The Masterclass enhances the chances of success of biotech start-ups and provides the ingredients to take new inventions in the life sciences to the market. At the same time it provides a chance for employees from larger companies, research institutes or governmental agencies to become more biotech business-minded.
The class treats subjects like intellectual property management (patent portfolio, patent life cycle, licensing and litigation), models of financing (3Fs, government, VC, IPO ), financial management, communication, legislation and regulation (national, European, EMEA), negotiation skills and deal making all within the framework of the biotech business. All courses are being taught by experienced professionals, entrepreneurs, financiers and opinion leaders in the biotech sector.
Furthermore, the Masterclass offers numerous opportunities for building new networks. The meetings provide the ideal platform to exchange and/or test ideas and experiences with colleagues and experts.
The Masterclass is composed of 4 modules of 2 days and will be taught in English.
