IFB Management course Life science 2018-2019 (mainly English)

IFB invites you to subscribe to the 26th Management course Life Science.

During the 8 modules of 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday - residential) participants get to understand the main forces, trends, opportunities & challenges in/of life science sector.

43 Key opinion leaders / stakeholders are chosen because they are one of the references and often THE REFERENCE and offer their vision on the future.

The participants are offered an overview of the Health Care sector in Belgium/ Europe. They become part of a unique network where participants and speakers regularly meet.
More than a 1000 Managers have participated in the past and are part of this important network. Participants are considered as most promising managers and high potentials.
A maximum of 30 participants are accepted to prevail an optimal interaction with the Key Opinion Leaders and the other participants. Active participation and commitment in a group assignment is rewarded by a certificate.

The lectures are given in English (most of the time), Dutch and French. Therefore the passive knowledge of these languages is required. Questions and discussions can be in the participants mother language.

The location of the course is Salons Waerboom – Grand-Bigard Brussels.

A greater understanding in the how and the why of the rapid evolution in this sector is shown and experienced.
You will understand what happens today and develop a clear vision on future problems and opportunities.
Insights will be shared about the relevant trends today and how to use them to make forecasts for tomorrow. This course will help you to see the bigger picture.

The course helps to create a crucial and unique network with colleagues, stakeholders and KOL’s / decision makers in the field.
More than 1000 participants have participated in the past and are part of this network together with the KOL's.
You will work and interact alongside people from diverse back ground and experiences.

The speakers focus on the future, but also the participants develop a clear vision of future problems and opportunities. 
During the course they develop Business Cases for all stakeholders and new business models by working in small, multi-disciplinary groups.

collaborating in small groups, active listening, having an opinion and defend this opinion.

 

Group assignment

Collaborate in small, multi-disciplinary groups throughout the entire course including negotiation skills, leadership, stakeholders analyses and
new care models integrating and applying new ways and ideas that you will have picked up of the 39 Key Opinion Leaders/ decision makers
during this 16,5-days Management Course.

Promising “high potentials”, need to get a broader horizon and often lack a substantial network.
